Founded by Scott DeWind in 2004, Compass Construction Management is built upon integrity, creativity, relationships, and vision. 

Scott has been in the construction industry since 1985. To date, Scott has built and/or managed the construction of over 250,000+ square feet of custom homes, multi-family housing, institutional and commercial spaces in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. Scott has a wide range of experience in the construction industry from design/architectural work, planning and development, construction, owner representation, expert witness consultation in legal cases, property home inspections as well as property management. Even when Scott was a young boy, he explored construction sites in the local neighborhoods of Florida.  Scott started his path in construction attending and graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University in their Building Science and Management School.  At Clemson and in studying abroad, Scott learned the love of design and architecture along with technical training of the building industry.  Scott moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1989 and has been engaged in the local building industry since. Scott currently lives in the Roaring Fork Valley with his wife Nancy, their three daughters, and two dogs.
